Thank you to the 89 families who took the time to complete the survey.
This is what we learnt:
- The majority (97 percent) of you feel CliniKids staff are easy to approach and feel comfortable sharing preferences with clinical staff.
- 95 percent reported feeling comfortable sharing preferences with our Client Support Officers (CSOs) and 96 percent feel heard by staff.
- More than 90 percent (93 percent) feel input and ideas are welcomed and valued by CliniKids and 87 percent feel well informed about our services and activities.
- 63 percent feel confident about how to provide feedback or make a complaint.
- 37 respondents commented on staff professionalism; warmth and compassion; how strongly satisfied they are with their child's progress through programs such as PACT and EDSM; the value of telehealth options; and the fact that they recommend CliniKids to other.
On the topic of potentially using AI in our clinics, we heard:
- 70 percent of families expressed comfort with the use of secure AI for writing reports, while the remaining families remain uncertain or uncomfortable with using AI.
- Comments were largely about not wanting to lose the personal aspect of therapy, and worrying about security of information.
- There was a general acceptance that efficiencies help with costs and create a focus on the child.
Over 2026, we will work closely with our families to explore the place that AI can play in our clinic, without compromising the quality of our service or the confidence of you, our clients. We'll be sure to provide opt out options and keep everyone well informed.
