Some children on the autism spectrum have difficulty coping with uncertainty in their environment or change to routines.
Without support, these concerns may result in clinically significant and ongoing anxiety difficulties.
We are trialling a group program for parents or other primary caregivers that helps families understand how to support and manage their child’s challenges with uncertainty in everyday environments online. This may help reduce children’s anxiety in these situations.
Who can take part?
Parents of young children diagnosed with autism, aged 4-7 years, with anxiety concerns around the unknown are invited to take part, living anywhere in Australia.
