Research at CliniKids

At CliniKids, it is important that the services we offer are informed by the children and families that utilise our services.

Father_Son_Consented_for_Promotion_VP.jpgAt CliniKids, it is important that the services we offer are informed by the children and families that utilise our services.

That is why we design our research projects for children/ families to participate in. In doing so, we can ensure that we are offering effective and safe therapies and support services to meet the needs of each child.

We have a range of research projects at CliniKids, and the eligibility to participate differs between projects depending on the research question we are trying to answer.

If you are interested in a research project, you will be supported by the research team to understand the aim of the study and what is involved with the study visits.

Participation in research at CliniKids is voluntary. If you decide not to participate or withdraw at a later stage this will not affect the way you or your child is treated at CliniKids.

Unlike other types of research you may be familiar with, a lot of the research projects at CliniKids involve play-based assessments or therapies, non-invasive tests, questionnaires and support groups.

If you are a parent/carer who would like to participate in research at CliniKids, please contact clinikids.research@thekids.org.au. You can find our current research studies here.
