Provisional Psychologists at CliniKids

To meet the growing demand for clinical psychology services, as well as provide education and awareness of autism best practice for clinical psychologists, CliniKids is helping to develop and train the next generation of mental health practitioners.

We are excited to announce that CliniKids has taken on two Provisional Psychologists – Anya and Melanie!

To meet the growing demand for clinical psychology services, as well as provide education and awareness of autism best practice for clinical psychologists, CliniKids is helping to develop and train the next generation of mental health practitioners.

Some benefits for CliniKids clients include: a heavily discounted rate for psychological services (which means more therapy sessions), additional flexibility in therapy options (home visits), immediate sessions available, intensive block of therapy from now until early December, and more than one professional input to support and monitor your child’s goals and progress.

Anya.jpgAnya started her psychology training in Ireland where she worked in a primary care service for adults presenting with mental health issues. She also spent time working as a paediatric autism therapist and since moving to Australia, is a fully registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.

Anya began her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Curtin University in early 2022. Anya enjoys helping children of all ages and supporting their families through hard times.

Melanie.jpgMelanie is currently completing her Master's in Clinical Psychology at Curtin University. Having two young children of her own, Mel is passionate about working with children and families, to ensure families feel highly supported and children reach their full potential.
