CliniKids held Frangipani Family Day recently – an event organised to honour the wonderful contribution of its much loved and dearly missed colleague, the late Kate Sorensen.
The family event is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate the families we engage with through our clinical services and research. It included sensory-friendly activities such as craft, giant bubbles, science experiments, and games, as well as a mindful movement class and sausage sizzle supplied and run by the Rotary Club of Scarborough.
Frangipanis were Kate’s favourite flower and her love of these as well as her passion for the families at CliniKids were the inspiration for the event.
