Audrey's a CUB baby

Baby Audrey is involved in the Cub Study at CliniKids.

Baby Audrey was all smiles for her 9-month CUB Study assessment which involved wearing an EEG net to measure her brain’s activity recently.

The study is testing a world-first program that helps parents understand their baby’s early social and communication abilities and empowers parents to interact with their baby in a way that supports their early development.

Mum Erin said the family joined CUBS when they had their third daughter Audrey because she believed research into early development was crucial.

“Our first daughter was diagnosed with a developmental delay at four and suddenly there was a flurry of assessments, specialists and reports while we were processing the news - but the one consistent thing was that everyone told us the importance of early intervention,” she said.

“When the opportunity to help researchers find new information about early development came up, we knew we would do our part to help other families who might need to navigate that same process, hopefully a bit easier.”
