Mikali Kluver
Speech Pathologist
Mikali is a bubbly Speech Pathologist born and raised in Victoria and holds a Masters of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University. She has experience working throughout the various domains of speech pathology including speech, language, play, social communication, fluency, AAC, literacy and feeding.
Mikali has clinical experience working in both community and hospital settings across Australia. She is trained in a range of approaches including Hanen, Learn To Play, Sequential-Oral-Sensory approach to feeding, Orofacial Myology, Key Word Sign, Picture Exchange Communication and Inklings. Mikali is a trained Inklings practitioner. She is also trained in the SCERTS (Social Communication – Emotional Regulation – Transactional Supports) framework.
Mikali has a passion for working with autistic children, particularly those who are learning to communicate or are minimally speaking. Mikali finds nothing more rewarding than helping these children to find their voices (verbally, through Key Word Sign and/or a high-tech AAC device). She prides herself on her ability to build rapport with children of all ages and understands the importance of making sessions fun, engaging and neuroaffirming.
