Katie is an Occupational Therapist with six years of clinical experience supporting clients and their families in community-based disability services with a particular interest in autism and intellectual disabilities. 

Katie is trained in the TIK and TOT framework (Tuning into Kids and Tuning into Toddlers) focused on empowering parents to support their child’s emotional development and ability to navigate emotions, and giving parents confidence to manage challenging behaviours. She has training through one of WA’s top sleep OT consultants (Sue McCabe) and a specific passion for supporting better sleep in young children. Katie is also trained in the SCERTS (Social Communication – Emotional Regulation – Transactional Supports) framework. 

Katie believes in keeping the child and family at the centre of the therapy achieving functional and meaningful therapy outcomes. She is passionate about creating a fun and individualised therapy environment as well as empowering caregivers and families with knowledge and strategies to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
