Both the Subiaco and Joondalup clinics will shut down for the Christmas and New Year period from Tuesday, December 23, (open for phone calls only) through to Friday, January 2, inclusive. The clinics will re-open on Monday, January 5, 2026. For all other December and January dates, the clinic will be open and operating as normal.
If you have an appointment that needs to be rescheduled because you will be away, please phone us before the clinic shutdown on 08 6319 1133 or email clinikids.reception@thekids.org.au
The usual cancellation notice requirements will be applied if families do not attend their scheduled appointments. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to avoid fees.
Term 1 appointment scheduling
We are aware that many of our clients are either starting kindy or are transitioning from kindy to fulltime school and may require a different day/time for their regular therapy sessions at CliniKids.
We want to facilitate as many changes as possible to minimise any time away from school. For this reason, if you currently know your child’s kindy days for 2024 or are aware that your session day will require a change, we ask that you please contact us with this information as soon as possible. If you don’t yet have this information, then please pass it on as soon as it becomes available.
You can email the change requests to clinikids.reception@thekids.org.au
Upcoming NDIS audit
CliniKids will undergo an NDIS audit in early March 2026. Every approved NDIS service provider must undertake this audit process every three years to ensure ongoing registration.
The audit process assesses our compliance with the requirements of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Practice Standards, and looks at things like our policies and procedures, records and data management systems, and the quality and standards of services provided to participants.
It also reviews important business governance practices such as complaints and feedback handling, quality management systems, and gives families and staff the opportunity to provide feedback through confidential channels.
Please keep an eye on your inbox for consent information in the new year.
Terms of Service updates
This is a reminder that we recently updated our Term of Service and emailed you about the changes. The main changes involve the rollout of client charges for mileage related to travel appointments as well as collecting consent annually to keep and use your personal information. Please reach out to the team if you have any questions.
