Dr Lacey Chetcuti is a Senior Research Fellow with CliniKids. Originally from Melbourne, she completed her PhD in developmental psychology at La Trobe University before undertaking postdoctoral appointments at Stanford University and Yale University.
Lacey's research focuses on developing new methods for measuring individual differences in children's strengths, challenges, and support needs. She is particularly interested in understanding why children differ in their motivation to engage socially and how these differences can be used to inform personalised supports.
She is committed to developing measures that are useful not only in research but also in clinical practice, helping to inform decision-making and ultimately improve outcomes for children and families.
